A Cyberpunk RPG
Game Overview

KLONE is a MMORPG-like game I created as part of Crayta's December 2022 Mega Jam, where it won an Honorable Mention, ranking 6th overall. Later on, it won a Bronze Award in December 2022.

You play as a cyborg living in the crime ridden cyberpunk city of New Odyssey where you try to work your way up through the criminal ranks by defeating various Gangs spread across different Turfs in the City

It was my most ambitious Game in Crayta and had many complex features that I was proud of being able to implement
Features and Mechanics
Custom Player Apartments

Each Player had their own Apartment that they could return to after a Loot Run

They could customize their apartment with gameplay items, furniture and other decorations. Players could buy Generators in their Apartment to generate resources to buy other items in the Game.

Players could buy other Apartments in the City, too. This was handled client-side.

Players could invite other players to their Apartment

Player could also Stash their Loot in their Apartment using "HoloLockers", kind of like bank accounts, that they could access across the City and use in their next Loot Run.

The Game had Global Leaderboards that Players could compete with each other on

Hunger and Sleep System

This was the first of its kind in Crayta when I introduced it in this Game
Exclusive Events System

A Weekly Events System where Players could unlock special weapons and items by completing Special missions, also the first of its kind when I introduced it in this Game
A Complex Level Up System

The Game had an XP and Level Up system

Each Level made the Player stronger and unlocked new features in the Apartment and new areas in the World Map
An Open World

The Game featured an Open World in the city of New Odyssey

It had 4 areas the player could explore: Assettera, Downtown, Ethera and The Yards

Downtown was the social area where no combat was allowed, and Players could engage in trade with merchants, take on new Quests or get cybernetic enhancements

Ethera and The Yards were hostile PVP and PVE areas

Assettera was the area which housed Player Apartments
NPC Enemies, Loot and Backpack System

Each area had different types of NPC Enemies

Enemies dropped loot upon being killed

Loot had different rarities and enemies in different areas dropped different loot
